Giles' Late Three-Pointer Sinks Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Wichita State closed the game on a 7-0 run to sink Memphis, 88-82, Thursday night in the FedExForum, extending its winning streak to four in a row.

Wichita State (19-10, 11-5) snapped a seven-game losing streak in Memphis and recorded its first-ever regular season sweep of the Tigers with the win.

The Shockers dominated the paint area, outrebounding the Tigers, 44-27, including 18 offensive rebounds, and scoring 44 points in the paint.

Kenyon Giles scored 19 of his team-high 22 points in the second half, including a dagger three-pointer to put Wichita State up four with 30 seconds left.
