The Washington Commanders are expected to move away from aging veterans who are not part of the team's long-term future this offseason. However, general manager Adam Peters has not completely closed the door on one possibility that looked like a foregone conclusion.

His leadership in the locker room and dependability in the passing game played a leading role in quarterback Jayden Daniels making a seamless transition to the pros. He may be slowing down with age, but his experience and knowledge still allow him to make a considerable difference.
