Washington scored the first 10 points of the game and Utah State could never recover as the Huskies cruised to a 31-17 victory on Saturday afternoon in front of an announced crowd of 59,464 at Husky Stadium.
Freshman quarterback Jake Browning completed 22-of-31 passes for 368 yards with three touchdowns and one interception for Washington (2-1), which racked up 442 yards of total offense against the Aggies (1-2).
Redshirt senior quarterback Chuckie Keeton was 17-of-33 for 171 yards and two interceptions for Utah State, which gained just 254 yards of offense and fell to 0-3 all-time against Washington.
