Boise State head coach Bryan Harsin called a press conference this morning where he officially announced that sophomore Ryan Finley will be the starting quarterback when the season kicks off against Washington on September 4th.
This announcement doesn't come as a surprise as Finley has been the leading candidate since spring camp opened up.
Alongside Finley and offensive coordinator Eliah Drinkwitz, Harsin told the media that he has been impressed with Finley's humility, leadership, and improvement over the course of the summer. This statement holds a lot of weight from a head coach that was forced to choose whether or not the quarterback should be suspended following an off-season arrest back in April.
