Every year, when the NFL Draft concludes, the Denver Broncos are flooded with 20-or-so college free agents (CFA), in an effort to swell the roster to 90 guys. Traditionally, Denver has experienced great success, especially under GM John Elway, in cultivating the CFA market, finding the diamonds in the rough.
Cornerback Chris Harris, Jr. is arguably Denver's biggest CFA success story, after being paid a $2,000 bonus to sign in 2011, which eventually led to a massive $43.5 million contract extension. But guys like linebackers Shaquil Barrett and Todd Davis both came from the undrafted ranks.
