Barnsley have signed Middlesbrough winger Charlie Lennon on a three-and-a-half-year contract, with an option for a further 12 months.
Lennon made his senior Boro debut as a second-half substitute in a 4-1 Championship win at Cardiff City in April 2024.
The 19-year-old has been on loan at National League North side Darlington this season, scoring twice in 19 games.
"Charlie is a player with enormous potential and the hunger to keep progressing - he brings energy, directness and an impressive level of experience for someone his age," Barnsley boss Conor Hourihane told the club website.
