Wolverines fall on the road at Northwestern

The Wolverines have struggled at times this season to get off to fast starts, but often rebounded with strong second half performances. Their meeting with Northwestern on Tuesday evening was the opposite of that script though, building up a 10 point advantage in the first five minutes of play, only to fall apart down the stretch and pick up a 61-52 loss.

Michigan made just 5-of-20 shots in the second half, including a 1-of-10 showing from three point range, at one point going through nine and half minute stretch without a made shot from the field.

Moritz Wagner scored 20 points and pulled down nine rebounds, while Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman had an 11-point outing.
