ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Memphis women's soccer team suffered a 5-0 setback Sunday afternoon to No. 13 UCF on the road. The loss drops Memphis to 7-5-1 on the year and 1-2-1 in American Athletic Conference play.
UCF took an early 2-0 lead through the first half of action. In the 30th minute, the Tigers created an opportunity to cut the lead to one, but Serena Dolan's shot hit the crossbar.
The Tigers came out firing in the second half with 10 shots, five of which were on goal.
