GREENVILLE, N.C. – University of Memphis sophomore Tai Bierria recorded a double-double performance of 11 kills and 11 digs, but ECU came away with a 3-0 American Athletic Conference win over the Tigers Sunday. The Pirates won the match by scores of 25-23, 28-26 and 25-23.
With the setback, Memphis' record is now 9-19 overall and 2-14 in The American. ECU improved to 19-10 overall and 10-6 in the league.
