SHOAL CREEK, Ala. - The Memphis Tigers finished its appearance at the 2017 Shoal Creek Intercollegiate with a ninth-place finish after an eight-over 296 in the tournament's final round, ending the three rounds 14 strokes over par.

Wake Forest won the event with an 849, while Liberty (862), North Florida (863), Ole Miss (864), and Georgia Southern (865) rounded out the top five teams in the field. The Tigers finished three strokes behind Kennesaw State (875), eight behind UAB (870) and nine behind Notre Dame (869) in the team standings.

Leading the way for the Tigers was Rodi Vlasveld who carded a one-under 71 on the day, ending the tournament at +1 and tied for 16th overall.
