Ambitious Foxes need fans to back them - Nelson

Defender Ben Nelson says Leicester City "need the backing" of supporters as the Foxes continue to strive for promotion to the Premier League.

Some fans chose to boycott Monday's Championship game at King Power Stadium against West Bromwich Albion.

A 94th-minute volley from Abdul Fatawu earned Leicester a 2-1 victory against a Baggies side that dominated for long spells, lifting the Foxes to within six places and four points of the play-off spots.

When asked about the subdued atmosphere at the ground, 21-year-old Nelson told BBC East Midlands Today's Charlie Slater that he felt "kind of the opposite".
