Packers WR Romeo Doubs is set to be a free agent when free agency starts on March 9th. Recently, there has been rumblings that both the Packers and Romeo Doubs have mutual interest to agree to extension. It makes some sense for the Packers to extend Romeo Doubs but the most logical move is for the Packers to let Doubs walk in free agency. The Packer have younger receivers in the waiting and Doubs’ potential new cap hit would be too expensive to take on.
Romeo Doubs has been the Packers most consistent wide receiver, health wise, the past two seasons.
