Heading into the 2025 offseason, the Green Bay Packers desperately needed to add another experienced pass rusher. The pressure numbers put up by the defense the previous season were very sub-optimal, and something needed to change if they wanted to compete at a high level. Training camp came and went, and outside of mid-late round draft picks, it looked like the team was going to field the same group as before. Which was very uninspiring.
However, just before the season started, a blockbuster trade changed all of that when the team traded for Micah Parsons and suddenly turned the pass-rushing problem into a strength.
