There has been a new development in Clemson WR Tristan Smith’s pursuit of another season of eligibility.
Smith announced on Sunday that his next court date has been pushed back from next month to June 8.
“I just wanted to take some time to thank everyone that is supporting me throughout this whole process,” Smith posted to X. “I know without the support, I probably wouldn’t even be here. My court date has been moved to June 8th. Even though that might seem a ways away, God never says oops. Go Tigers.”
Smith is suing the NCAA after a waiver seeking a fifth year was denied back in November.
