By now, most Chicago Bears fans have heard the news that starting center Drew Dalman has informed the team he will retire from the game of football at the young age of 27.
While the news sent shockwaves through the Bears' fan base, it's hard to believe general manager Ryan Poles didn't already see it coming, at least before the majority of folks found out. He's already been eyeing replacements, as former Washington Commanders center Tyler Biadasz is visiting Chicago.
In addition, the Bears have reportedly been keeping an eye on Baltimore Ravens impending free agent Tyler Linderbaum, widely viewed as one of the top centers in the league.
