MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State started its third quarterback of the season on Thursday night against Toledo. Former walk-on Zack Blair made his first career start in place of Jack Milas, who is out with a right elbow injury.
Blair, however, was injured on Ball State's second series. Enter fourth-string quarterback Drew Plitt, who along with Malik Dunner has led Ball State to a 7-3 lead over first-place Toledo after one quarter.
