Trey Moses' smooth passing is nothing new

MUNCIE — From the time he started playing basketball until middle school, Trey Moses was a point guard.

Fans probably wouldn't guess today that 6-foot-10 center got his start as a ball handler, running offenses up and down the court. Even Ball State head coach James Whitford didn't know until an interview for this story that the big guy played point as a kid.

“I grew up as a point guard, believe it or not,” Moses says now with a chuckle. “I really always had the ball in my hands, and I’ve never been the selfish type.
