MUNCIE — Wide receivers walked into their position room after a Wednesday morning practice to find their chairs missing. A bunch of guys that had just spent two hours in the heat running routes and drills, hitting and sweating — they showed up for a meeting and had to stand.
Second-year receivers coach Alex Bailey was making a point. Things had to be better.
"We didn't have the best practice this morning," redshirt sophomore Devin Reece said Wednesday afternoon. "We had a lot of drops. A lot of drops, myself included."
Reece took special notice of what was said in the meeting.
