MUNCIE, Ind. -- Lauren Roll and Emily Scott scored for the second time this year as the Ball State soccer team defeated Fort Wayne 2-0 Sunday afternoon.
Sophomore goalkeeper Tristin Stuteville made her second start and collected five saves on the way to Ball State’s first shutout of the season.
The Cardinals polished off their season-opening, four-game homestand unbeaten at 3-0-1. They will hit the road for the first time next weekend.
After starting the same lineup of 10 field players for the first three games of the season, Ball State coach Craig Roberts changed things up a bit Sunday.
