YORKTOWN, Ind. — Every bit of momentum had been sapped from Wapahani.
Yorktown's Kara Tucker was hot and had just knocked down her third shot in the fourth quarter from behind the arc. And then Carlea Pettigrew hit a 3-pointer to tie the game, after Wapahani had held an 11-point lead at the end of the third.
So Wapahani's Kaci Mangus responded with a 3-point shot of her own, breaking the tie as the Raiders held the lead in a 44-40 win over the Tigers in the Delaware County Tournament semifinal, setting up a rematch with Delta in Saturday's championship.
