Sounds like typical high school football players, right? Training as hard as they can so that when they step on the field in the fall, they're ready to put up some wins?
Except it's actually Cowan freshman Kaily Smith and junior Megan Marlatt. And they're not training for a football team.
Smith and Marlatt are helping build a Cowan discus dynasty. John, who is Kaily's father, threw discus in college while living in Germany.
