The gymnastics team released its schedule for the 2016-2017 season. The team will face off against three teams who broke the top 25 NCAA polls last season (Missouri, Kentucky and George Washington).
Head coach Joanna Salem said that competing against teams with such a high caliber allows the team to gain more experience.
“I think that it is always good to get that exposure because judging across the country is different everywhere you go and you want to make sure you are able to go head to head with some of those teams you may not see in regular season,” Salem said.
