MUNCIE, Ind. — The way things changed in two games is pretty remarkable.
Ball State went from a second-half offensive breakdown against Bowling Green to a near-dominant second half at Buffalo. The Cardinals played like a different team on those afternoons and during a game in the middle, against Miami, looked like a mix of the two.
So what's next? As Ball State (11-6, 2-2 Mid-American Conference) gets set for its first MAC West opponent in Central Michigan on Tuesday (ESPN3, 7 p.m.) will the improvement continue?
Head coach James Whitford said the jump start began by working on some of the chemistry issues he cited after losing to Bowling Green.
