Is it possible that Delaware County could send three volleyball teams to state this year?
It certainly seems like it. We're now less than two months away from Nov. 5, the day of state volleyball at Worthen Arena. Things can change, but right now if Yorktown and Delta face off in sectionals, it could be a battle between the best two teams in 3A north.
Wapahani continues to dominate and look every bit like last year's championship team, but it will face a stiff test against Class 2A No. 1 Madison-Grant this week. That could potentially benefit the Raiders in the long run.
