MUNCIE — Teammate chemistry is an invaluable asset when playing doubles tennis.
Delta tennis players Emily Decker and Sarah Ogle know that firsthand. They have spent the last two seasons playing No. 2 doubles, patiently waiting behind the No. 1 team of Teaghan Dishman and Kaylin Gibson. Though they were willing to wait, strong play from the No. 2 duo demanded the attention of Delta coach Tim Cleland.
The pair is making the leap to No. 1 doubles. They have big shoes to fill, as the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association named Dishman and Gibson to the First Team Doubles All-State team last spring.
