MUNCIE, Ind. — It’s not exactly unprecedented, but it is unusual. The three biggest schools in Delaware County, including eight-time state champion Central, are looking for a new boys basketball coach.
The action will get going Tuesday night as Yorktown is expected to officially approve its hire at a school board meeting. Daleville has already tabbed its next coach in Tyler Stotler, who replaces Daniel Hanson. Central hopes to announce its replacement for Jeff Holloway next Tuesday at a school board meeting, while Delta will likely be the week after that.
The rest of the county, meanwhile, is prepared for a vastly different landscape next season.
