One month into her college career Anna Clephane seemed poised to snatch a spot on the Mid-American Conference All-Freshman Team this winter. The Northern Kentucky native scored nine points against Duke, dished four assists vs. Fordham and the cherry on top was a 22-point outing against her hometown Cincinnati Bearcats inside Worthen Arena.
And then, just like that, it was gone.
A week after her breakout against UC, with a minute-limited four foul performance at Butler in the immediate rearview, Clephane was primed to get back on track back home against an SEC team in Vanderbilt.
