MUNCIE — If the Central boys basketball team wants to win on Friday, the first thing it needs to do is take care of the ball.
Heading into semifinal play against Fort Wayne South Side in the Class 4A Huntington North Sectional, Central coach Jeff Holloway likes where his team is sitting. It had a quarterfinal bye, which was used to rest tired legs and sore backs and also go to Huntington North and watch South Side disrupt the Jay County offense.
Holloway said there's always an emphasis on protecting the ball, but even more so after watching South Side force 40 turnovers in its Tuesday win.
