Senior Caleb Stayton and junior Seth Freed combined for nine RBIs to lead the Ball State baseball team to a 14-4 win at Ohio State Wednesday evening. It's Ball State's third win over a Big Ten team this season. Stayton’s two-run home run in the fifth inning, his third of the year, gave Ball State the lead for good. Freed added a two-run triple as part of a four-run sixth inning to put the Cardinals ahead, 9-4. Freed then capped the night with a bases clearing double in the top of the ninth inning.
