5 things we learned about Ball State in fall camp

There was no scrimmage Saturday as originally scheduled, but Ball State still wrapped up fall camp with a morning practice. It was probably a bit less entertaining for fans than a true scrimmage, but hey, fifth-year receiver KeVonn Mabon still caught three touchdowns during team drills.

He caught 70 catches last season, but just two of them went for touchdowns. Head coach Mike Neu said they're going to find ways to get the All-MAC guy into the end zone more this season. But that's another story. After a busy couple weeks of fall practices and one scrimmage, here are five things we've learned about the 2016 Cardinals.
