FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas junior Nolan Souza started at third base Tuesday during the Razorbacks' 12-4 loss to Arkansas State, which was his first time to play in the field since he tore his labrum last April at Georgia.
TJ Pompey, who started the Razorbacks’ first seven games at third base, moved to shortstop in place of Carson Brumbaugh.
“We’ve got to be able to get him out there a little bit,” Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn said on the Razorback Sports Network pregame show. “I was going to give Brumbaugh a little time off today. … I really wanted him to watch today and relax, and get him back out there tomorrow.
