Considering the Arizona Wildcats played three games in five days and spent two nights on the road last week, the schedule looks a bit calmer this week.
But that doesn’t mean they can breathe any easier.
For one thing, the three practices Arizona will hold in advance of its game with Texas Southern on Wednesday may seem just as tiring as a few 40-minute games.
After playing 38 minutes against Santa Clara last Thursday, UA forward Lauri Markkanen indicated that wasn’t a whole lot different than a regular afternoon at the Richard Jefferson Gym.
“It’s the same thing with practice every day,” Markkanen said.
