Vitor Roque looks set to miss Barcelona’s clash with Girona on Saturday in La Liga after missing training on Friday.
The Brazilian arrived at the Ciutat Esportiva but left after 10 minutes due to “general discomfort,” as reported by Jijantes reporter Carlos Monfort.
There’s no detail yet on the nature of Vitor Roque’s discomfort but it’s another blow for the youngster and comes at a difficult time.
Speculation currently abounds that the forward could be sent out on loan in the summer transfer window in search of regular football.
Barca’s January signing has barely played since he arrived in the winter window, and Xavi has refused to rule out a summer move for the Brazilian.
